Activate Your Faith: It Is Your Birthright to Believe God

There comes a time in every believer’s life when we must move from simply knowing about Faith to actively living by Faith.

Faith is not just a church word.
Faith is not just something we talk about when life is hard.
Faith is not passive.
Faith is substance.

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — KJV

That means Faith gives spiritual weight to what you are hoping for. Faith brings heavenly substance into your earthly expectation. Faith is the active ingredient that connects what God has promised to what you are believing Him to manifest in your life.

When I ask in Faith, I can expect to receive. Why? Because Faith already carries the substance of what I am believing for.

Ask, Seek, Knock

In Matthew 7:7, Jesus says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” — KJV

This is not just an invitation. It is a Kingdom principle.

Jesus did not say maybe. He did not say ask and hope God hears you. He did not say seek and maybe you will find. He said ask, seek, and knock.

There is a movement of Faith in this scripture. Ask requires Faith. Seek requires Faith. Knock requires Faith. To ask means I believe God can answer me. To seek means I believe God can be found. To knock means I believe there is a door that can open for me.

Faith is what keeps me asking when I do not see it yet. Faith is what keeps me seeking when I do not have the full picture. Faith is what keeps me knocking when the door has not opened yet.

Faith Is the Substance

Faith is powerful because it gives substance to hope. Hope says, “I believe it is possible.” Faith says, “I believe God is able.” Obedience says, “I will move like I believe Him.”

Hebrews 11 shows us men and women who lived by Faith. They did not always have all the details. They did not always know how God was going to do it but they believed God enough to obey Him.

By Faith, Noah prepared.
By Faith, Abraham went.
By Faith, Sarah received strength.
By Faith, Moses chose obedience.
By Faith, walls fell.
By Faith, people obtained a good testimony.

Hebrews 11:6 reminds us, “But without Faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is…” — KJV

Before I believe God for what He can do, I must first believe God for who He is.

He is faithful.
He is able.
He is present.
He is provider.
He is healer.
He is Father.
He is rewarder.

Faith Gives Birth to Testimony

Faith is often the beginning place of a testimony.

Before there is manifestation, there is belief.
Before there is evidence, there is trust.
Before there is a visible result, there is an invisible agreement with God.

When we believe God in Faith, we are saying, “Lord, I trust Your Word above my circumstances.”

Faith does not deny reality. Faith submits reality to the authority of God’s Word.

Faith says, “This is what I see, but God is greater.”
Faith says, “This is what I feel, but God is still faithful.”
Faith says, “This is what has happened, but God still has the final word.”

The believer’s life was never meant to be lived only by what we see. We are called to live by Faith.

The Gift of Faith

Faith is not something we have to manufacture in our own strength. God has given us Faith, and the Holy Spirit teaches us how to access it, grow in it, live by it, and use it for the Glory of God.

Faith grows when we hear the Word.
Faith grows when we obey God.
Faith grows when we remember what God has already done.
Faith grows when we pray and keep our eyes on Him.

Sometimes we are waiting on more evidence, but God is waiting on us to activate what He has already placed within us.

You do not need perfect faith to begin.
You need active Faith.

Use the Faith you have. Speak the Word. Pray the prayer. Take the step. Ask again. Seek again. Knock again.

It Is Your Birthright

As a believer, Faith is part of your spiritual inheritance. It is your birthright to believe God. It is your birthright to ask in Faith. It is your birthright to trust the Father. It is your birthright to expect God to be who He said He is.

You were not born again to live underneath fear, doubt, and unbelief. You were born again to walk with God, believe His Word, and carry a testimony that points back to His goodness.

So today, activate your Faith.

Ask God again.
Believe God again.
Trust God again.
Stand on His Word again.
Expect His faithfulness again.

Faith has substance. Faith carries evidence. Faith pleases God. Faith produces testimony. And when you ask in Faith, according to His will and His Word, you can trust that your Father hears you.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, teach me how to live by Faith. Strengthen my heart to believe Your Word above my circumstances. Help me to ask, seek, and knock with confidence, knowing that You are faithful and You are good. Holy Spirit, teach me how to access the gift of Faith, grow in Faith, and use my Faith for the glory of God. I declare that I will not live by fear. I will not be ruled by doubt. I will walk by Faith, believe Your promises, and trust You for the testimony. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faith Declaration

I activate my Faith today.
