LET GO and LET GOD

I was listening to Pandora this evening, enjoying Yolanda Adams radio and the song Let Go and Let God came on.  Little did I know, the song began to minister to me.  There are so many outside forces pulling on us daily that we sometimes go through the motions without realizing the weight.  The bible says lay down every weight that so easily beset us.  As I listened to the words of the song I started to lay down those “weights” and began to get lighter, and lighter.  I am thankful for Christian/Gosple music. I encourage you to listen to some great worship music to uplift your Spirit and Soul. Yours in Christ Carla

Let Go and Let God

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. A lot has transpired since I last blogged. So many wonderful things have happened too many to even mention. I will share never stop growing….Let Go and Let God in a particular area in life and things will turn around. So my advice, my plea, my suggestion to you is to Let Go and Let God for real. Pick an area that you want to control but can’t….like your children (LOL ) and release them into God’s hands. So, I leave this scripture with you to pray for yourself and others….Jeremiah 29:11 The Message (MSG) 10-11 This is GOD’s Word on the subject: I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who have been blessed to become MOTHERS. Oh what a great gift we have been given. Now it is our privilege to raise these children. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. My, My, My, that is an amazing promise.

As parents we: influence and impart into their lives we also instruct them. Let us not take for granted this wonderful gift and let’s treasure it. Let’s unite and raise the next God revering children that will carry the Gospel to the world. I count it all joy to raise my boys.

I pray and ask God to Bless and strengthen you as parents. I pray that divine instruction be imparted into you so that you are well able to instruct your children. Thank you Lord for the favor shield that surrounds our children, In Jesus name.

Oh To Be Led…

Oh to be led by the Holy Spirit. It really is the only way to live. It we are left to our own devices we may coast for a while but eventually our worlds come crashing down. I know I need a Savior, for He is my strength and help.

His guidance and leadership in my life helps to keep me from the traps and pitfalls in this world. Even if I happen to make a wrong decision I know from firsthand experience God delivers. I just want to take this opportunity to Thank the Father for always having my back and my family’s back as well.

I recently read something very disturbing by someone I love and I immediately wanted to put them in check but the Holy Spirit stopped me and ministered to me on 2 thing…First to get my spirit correct but I was about to react in the flesh in the Name of Jesus (which is all kinds of wrong) and Second how to respond by not responding. Holy Spirit showed me that this person is truly Lost spiritually and how to intercede for them. I will have an opportunity to speak with this person and when I do I will have the correct (Holy Spirit Filled) words to benefit that soul.

I leave you with this one thing….Hate the Sin and Love the Person……

What is LOVE?

What is LOVE for REAL? We throw that word around so casual but even in its natural meaning it carries a lot of weight. As a noun it’s an intense feeling of deep affection for someone or something and as a verb its deep romantic feelings, caring for someone. Now, that is well and good but let’s look at LOVE in the biblical sense. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 New International Version (NIV) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. This is LOVE.

Simply having patients and kindness in your heart is a great start. Walking in LOVE is not really hard if you want to please the FATHER. The first thing you must do is keep it on your mind daily…Today I will walk in LOVE…Let’s make a conscious decision to participate in this walk. We walk for Heart disease, Cancer and other worthy causes let’s walk in LOVE on Purpose.

Pick a LOVE Characteristic: Patients, Kindness, Don’t Envy, Don’t Boast, Don’t be Proud, Honor Others, Lets’ not Self Seek, Don’t Anger Easily, Keep no record of Wrong Doing, Rejoice with Truth, Protect, Trusts, Hopes, and Perseveres. Practice a characteristic today.

True Elevation

God has a better plan for you than you can even imagine. I was reading in Act ch 6 this morning where the 12 disciples of Jesus were in need of someone to step in and handle the business of the ministry. The 12 needed help…someone to serve. The requirements of the 7 individuals needed for service, were men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost, and Wisdom. The 7 were chosen and of the 7, 2 stood out the more. Phillip and Steven although qualified for service and served well they had extra. Man chose them to serve but God chose them to win souls.

If you read the accounts of Stephen and Phillip you will see great exploits for the LORD. These men were chosen to serve and in their service and commitment to the cause GOD elevated them. They remained humble and faithful and HOLY. God had a better plan for their lives.

God has a better plan for your life as well. God can choose you, fill you with the His Spirit, and elevate you to a place where healing and salvation is the ministry you steward. Oh, how marvelous to be in His will and plan for our lives. Ask God for those qualifications: honest report, full of the Holy Spirit and Wisdom then remain humble and faithful and watch God himself elevate you.

Between Called and Chosen

A lot goes on between being called and being chosen. I want to give you 3 keys you need to succeed in this process.
1. Attitude 2. Preparation 3. Endurance    Matthew 22:14  King James Version (KJV) 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

These 3 keys will guide you on your pre-ordained journey by GOD.  You must have the right attitude especially when dealing with people.  So often people will talk you right out of your GOD given Destiny.  You must remain focused and on the path that GOD has for you. Do not be swayed by distractions set up to stop you.  Stay positive, speak positive, and fellowship with like minded people.

Preparation can be a hard task master but the outcome is well worth it..  It is in the making where you will be tried and tested.  In the preparation process you will learn how to move and operate in your calling.  Although you are pre-ordained to your calling you will still have to be trained and taught. Be willing to learn and ask Holy Spirit for help because Holy Spirit is the Teacher of all things.  Ask Holy Spirit for the right teacher in the natural as well.  Also be open to correction….with correction comes growth.

Lastly, but not least Endurance.  You will have to be willing to go the long haul.  Your journey may not be easy or short but it can be obtained.  For we are more than conquerors and you Destiney is for you to conqueror. Hebrews 10:35-36 Amplified Bible (AMP)35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward. 36 For you have need of steadfast patience and endurance, so that you may perform and fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive and [a]carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.

Oh that Glorious moment when you go from being called to being Chosen.  (PTL)

Goals Dreams Plans

Have you put any of them on paper? The Bible tells us to write the vision and make it plain.  So let’s make it plain people.  I find when I write them down whether long term or shot term they tend to come to pass.

I suggest that you try it. If you have been stuck in some areas in your life try a vision board or a vision binder.  Sometimes we need to get it all out of our heads and put down on paper.  It will definitely help clear out the clutter in your mind…:-)

It’s something like Brainstorming for me…once I start writing it flows. Then I can come back and put it in some type of order that make sense to me.  Take time and find your niche.  This Blog for instant is great for me.  Just simple notes and reminders to me can benefit others too.  Well, I just wanted to put it in the atmosphere; that writing the vision and making it plain works.
