You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden… Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven. — Matthew 5:14–16
There’s something about light. It changes a room. It lifts a mood. It helps you see clearly. But in Matthew 5:14–16, Jesus tells us we’re not just carriers of light — we ARE the light.
And that light? It’s not meant to be hidden. It’s meant to Bless. Build. Impact.
1. Bless — Your Light Brings Benefit
Think of the last time someone’s kindness turned your day around. That’s what blessing looks like. When you let your light shine, you’re offering hope to the discouraged, encouragement to the weary, and comfort to the hurting. You’re adding value to someone’s life simply by showing up with love, compassion, and truth.
Blessing is contagious. One act of kindness often sparks another. And when the world sees light like that, it takes notice.
2. Build — Your Light Strengthens Others
Light doesn’t just brighten a space — it reveals what’s possible. Your words, actions, and faith can build courage in someone else. They can strengthen a friend’s resolve, help a coworker find clarity, or inspire a neighbor to take their next step in faith.
Building takes intentionality. It’s not about quick fixes but about sowing seeds of truth, encouragement, and wisdom that help others grow.
3. Impact — Your Light Creates Lasting Change
Here’s the beautiful part: when your light blesses and builds, it naturally makes an impact. Impact isn’t just about big moments; it’s about the lasting imprint you leave on someone’s heart. It’s the way your love points them toward God. It’s the conversation that shifts their perspective. It’s the consistent example that whispers, “God is real. His love is here.”
Your Light Matters
Jesus didn’t say, “Try to be the light.” He said, “You are the light.” That means your life is already positioned to bless, build, and impact — right where you are. At work. At home. In your community. In your church. So today, step onto the candlestick. Be that city on a hill. Let your light shine, and watch God use it to change lives.
Hello, beloved friends, it’s Dr. Carla! As we emerge from this incredible season of transformation, I feel an overwhelming sense of anticipation for what lies ahead. We are standing at the threshold of something new, something fresh, and it’s not just a new chapter—it’s a whole new volume of our story, written by the hands of the Creator.
We’ve come so far, haven’t we? The road of transformation wasn’t always easy, but it has been powerful. We’ve faced moments of challenge and reflection, embracing the changes that GOD has brought into our hearts, minds, and spirits. We’ve allowed The HOLY SPIRIT to renew us, stripping away the old and making space for the new. But now, as we look toward the future, we see the opportunity to do more than simply walk forward—we have the chance to redesign and recreate our lives, our families, our businesses, and our world with heavenly innovation.
Where We’ve Been: A Journey of Deep Transformation
In the months that have led us here, we’ve intentionally allowed GOD to reshape us. We’ve sought His guidance, leaned on His promises, and confronted areas in our lives that needed healing. Our spirits have been revived, and our minds have been renewed. We’ve discovered that true transformation doesn’t just touch the surface; it goes deep, reaching into our very core, bringing about a shift that only The HOLY SPIRIT can make.
Romans 12:2 tells us, Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will for your life. And this transformation, this renewal, has been preparing us for what comes next.
Entering the Next: Redesigning with Heavenly Innovation
As we step into this next season, we’re not just moving forward; we’re entering a new realm of possibility—one where divine creativity and GOD-given imagination are at the forefront. With The HOLY SPIRIT’s renewal, we are empowered to think differently, to dream bigger, and to innovate in ways that align with GOD’s heavenly plans for us.
GOD is the ultimate Creator, and as His children, we are made in His image. We are co-creators with Him, designed to bring forth life, hope, and purpose into the world around us. Now, it’s time to use our Godly imagination to redesign our lives. It’s time to think beyond what we’ve known and allow the Spirit to guide us into new visions of success, fulfillment, and influence.
What Does This Look Like?
Redesigning Our Lives: We are not bound by our past mistakes or limitations. With renewed minds, we can see ourselves as GOD sees us—whole, purposeful, and capable of achieving all that He has called us to do. If there’s an area of your life where you feel stuck or stagnant, now is the time to allow GOD to breathe fresh vision into it. Step into the new with faith and confidence.
Redesigning Our Families: GOD’s design for family is one of unity, love, and strength. As we move into this new season, let’s look at how we can reshape our family dynamics. How can we lead with love and understanding? How can we create environments where everyone can thrive and grow together in the purpose of GOD?
Redesigning Our Businesses: This is the time for innovation. With the guidance of The HOLY SPIRIT, we can rethink how we operate in our businesses, creating solutions that not only provide for us but also serve others. Let’s move away from old patterns and embrace new ideas that honor GOD and serve our communities.
Redesigning Our World: The world around us is in need of restoration, and we have a role to play. Our transformed lives have the power to influence and impact the world in ways we may not yet fully understand. As we allow GOD’s creativity to flow through us, we can bring about positive change in our workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities.
Empowered by The HOLY SPIRIT
Through it all, we are not walking this journey alone. We are empowered by The HOLY SPIRIT, who is guiding us, filling us with divine creativity, and giving us the wisdom and strength to bring about this change. Philippians 2:13 reminds us, For it is GOD who works in you and I to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose us. Our lives are not just about surviving—they are about thriving, creating, and innovating according to GOD’s plan.
Moving Forward with Expectancy
As we embrace this next season of life, let’s do so with hearts full of expectancy. GOD is doing something new in us and through us. It may feel unfamiliar, but it is precisely where we are meant to be. The transformation we’ve experienced has positioned us for the greatness that lies ahead. Let’s allow The HOLY SPIRIT to continue renewing and empowering us to redesign our futures with boldness, creativity, and purpose.
So, let’s take this moment, right here and now, to step fully into the new. Let’s trust in GOD’s ability to innovate, create, and transform our lives in ways that reflect His goodness, glory, and grace.

In the face of spiritual warfare, it is vital for us to remember that we are not alone. The Spirit of the LORD is our strength and refuge, empowering us to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Here are some encouraging truths to hold onto when you find yourself in the midst of spiritual battles:
1. You are Empowered by the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, providing guidance, strength, and comfort. In Acts 1:8 (NIV), JESUS promised, But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses. Trust in the power of the Holy Spirit to lead you and give you the strength to overcome every challenge.
2. GOD is Your Protector
GOD promises to protect and fight for you. Psalm 91:1-2 (NIV) reassures us, Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress, my GOD, in whom I trust. Seek refuge in GOD’s presence, knowing that He is your shield and stronghold.
3. You Have the Victory in Christ
Through JESUS’ sacrifice on the cross, the ultimate victory has already been won. Colossians 2:15 (NIV) states, And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Stand firm in this victory, knowing that no power of darkness can prevail against you.
4. Use the Word as Your Weapon
The Word of GOD is a powerful tool in spiritual warfare. Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) says, For the word of GOD is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword. Equip yourself with Scripture, meditate on it, and declare it over your life to counteract the enemy’s lies and temptations.
5. Pray with Persistence
Persistent prayer is essential in spiritual battles. Ephesians 6:18 (NIV) encourages us to pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Maintain a fervent prayer life, seeking GOD’s guidance and interceding for strength and protection.
6. Trust in GOD’s Faithfulness
GOD is faithful and His promises are true. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV) reminds us, No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And GOD is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. Trust that GOD will provide a way out and help you stand strong through every trial.
7. Encourage One Another
In times of spiritual warfare, it is crucial to support and encourage each other. Hebrews 10:24-25 (NIV) urges us, And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another. Surround yourself with a community of believers who will uplift and pray for you.
Stand Firm in Faith
Dear believer, stand strong in the Spirit of the LORD. Remember that the battle is not yours, but GOD’s. Lean on His strength, trust in His promises, and walk in the victory that JESUS Christ has secured for you. When you feel weary, remind yourself of GOD’s unchanging love and faithfulness. He is with you, fighting for you, and will never leave you nor forsake you.
Be encouraged, stay vigilant, and let your Faith be a beacon of hope in the midst of spiritual warfare. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loves you (Romans 8:37). Stand firm and be strong in the LORD!
There is so much power in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I don’t know if we know how much power we really have access to. I do not know if we understand the power that resides in us is through the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Today, if you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, I implore you to try him today. Try accessing that life changing power today. I truly believe that we have various opportunities throughout the day to Minister to the needs of others. With such great access to such great power, why are we holding back??? Could it be that we are so busy with life that we miss our heavenly opportunities?
We do not even have the imagination of what the Holy Spirit can, will, shall, and must do through us. Will you even try today? Don’t miss a moment to show God’s Love, Majesty, Mercy, Grace, Power, Miracles, Signs, and/or His Wonders.
As I was reading my devotional today it took me to Acts 3. Peter and John have been recently baptized with fire in the Holy Spirit. They are about to enter the temple and run into a man at the gate called Beautiful. The Bible said he was a lame man and had been that way for 40 years, since birth as a matter of fact. He was there begging for money which is what he did daily.
When the apostles see this man the first thing, they did was felt compassion for him. The ministry that Jesus operated in all the time, kicked in and they began to engage him by speaking to him. Next, they gave him something, not what he wanted or what he asked for. But how many of you know that if you have been unable to walk for 40 years…. I believe it is safe to say that the lame man knew and felt like this was his lot in life. His thoughts could possibly have been I will be like this for the rest of my life. The rest of my days I will be unable to walk, unable to provide for myself or my family without coming here and begging. I think it is a safe It is safe to say that he was relegated to this position and or posture.
However, here comes the Disruptors (Peter and John) with their no having silver and gold selves. Answering the lame man responded by saying this is what I have for you. Take up your bed and walk in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene. And suddenly, his feet felt something that they had never felt before. Power surged in his body and he began to stand up in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible said at once he stood up. He began to walk around on his new legs and feet. And entered into the temple, leaping and jumping and praising God.
So once again, my brothers and sisters, I implore you to access the power of the Holy Spirit that God has granted you and Jesus gifted you. Go out today and throughout your day and throughout your week seek who you can bless with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Who will cross your path today or tomorrow? And You will access the power of the Holy Spirit, operate in the ministry that Jesus called You to, and witness the power of the Holy Spirit move on behalf of the person you are praying for.
What is fortify and how do I successfully establish this in my
home.
A couple of months ago the Holy Spirit said FORTIFY. I was
like what do you mean LORD. Fortify what?
HE spoke again saying Fortify. So, I sat still and began to listen
to what the Holy Spirit was telling me.
He said Fortify everything.
So, I began with defining fortify so that I had a clear and
complete understanding of what the Holy Spirit was telling me.
Fortify according to the dictionary defined it as a verb – to
strengthen a place with defensive mechanisms to protect it from attacks.
Another definition defining Fortify was to invigorate a person mentally
or physically or a building or a place by restoration, reviving, refreshing, or
rejuvenating it. This reminded me of Nehemiah and the defenses of
Jerusalem.
How to fortify your home:
You must first identify all breaches in your home. Once you
have identified where you have holes, cracks, and gaps in your walls you make
preparation to repair them. Now you must assess what supplies you
will need (The WORD) to repair them. Determine whether you need some patch work
(Confessions) or do I need to repair a section, by strengthening the entire
wall and you rebuild by using (Fasting and Praying) by the word of the Lord.
How to fortify your family’s health:
You must identify the areas in your family’s lives where the enemy
has taken ground. Once you know where the enemy has taken ground in your
Children and your Spouse you prepare yourself with the word of God to go and
repair those areas. Where health is a concern you combat sickness and
disease with health, healing and wholeness scriptures for example by his
stripes I am healed. The Lord sent his
word and healed them from all disease and destruction, or healing is the
children’s bread that is our portion. These are some of the scriptures
you can use to go after those areas with the word of God. It is important that
we arm ourselves with the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God.
How to fortify your finances:
Fortifying your finances is a must too, attacks on your finances
must be strengthened with the word of God. Using scriptures like there is no
lack in the Kingdom of God. Isaac sowed in a famine and reaped a
hundredfold, my God shall supply All my needs in riches in His Glory, my God is
sufficient, He gives me daily bread, are just a few of the promises you must
learn and apply to your life. God has a glorious inheritance for his
children to lay hold of Hallelujah. We
must utilize them daily.
How to fortify your (Atmosphere):
If there is strife and contention in the family you begin to wage
war and fortify your home with Peace, the peace of God that surpasses
understanding, Great is Jesus’s Peace therefore Great is my Peace and my
composure is undisturbed. Peace is a
gift given to us from Jesus. Jesus says
my peace I give you, how amazing is that. I have Jesus’s Peace working in
me. To God be the Glory I don’t have to
rely on my own but what Jesus gives.
How to fortify your children!
If you have school-age children, they too must be fortified and
strengthened with the word of God on how to be a Christian servant leader; how
to be a Christian influencer and live a life that’s up right in the eyes of the
Lord. Learning to combat social norms like bullying, disrespect, speaking
negative words over themselves and or others will have to be taught and
practiced.
For our children to remain the Christian influences that we are
raising them to be; we as parents need to continuously plant the word of God in
them as well as plant the heavens on their behalf. When I say plant
the Heavens I mean speak, declare, decree their DESTINY in prayer. Our children will enhance their culture, they
will shift atmospheres with the peace of God that rest on them. When our children come into a room in the
name of Jesus, Favor, Grace, Peace, Mercy, Authority, and Power follows.
My Prayer:
Anything lost in battle, anything stolen, anything misplaced, and
mishandled by myself and or my family Lord I repent right now in Jesus name.
I ask for forgiveness in all areas Lord and I thank you for the strategy
of Fortify.
Lord God I thank you that you will not forsake me and you will not
leave me. Even though it seems I have lost so much, been under so much
oppression you are my Lord My God and you will defend me and my family. I
thank you for the strategy to fortify my life, my family, my home, my children,
my spouse, and my belongings. Everything
that belongs to me that you have given me stewardship over Lord strengthen me
as I strengthen my walls so that it is all protected. I thank you for the
Nehemiah anointing to repair, restore, revive, rejuvenate, refresh and rebuild
all to completion. Father I give you
Glory and Honor in Jesus name Amen.
God is a creator and He created us in His image and in His likeness. We are His Handiwork and His Workmanship. We are His creation therefore we are creators.
We are in an accelerated season of CREATION CREATING. We must get clear instructions about our purpose and destiny and begin Creating. The atmosphere is ripe for our creations to manifest. Your creative minds have been moving at exponential speeds lately and you hardly have time to write down what Holy Spirit is revealing to you.
Do not delay any longer write the vision, write the invention, write the plan, write the idea down. In the same manner as you write you are creating. Creating the vision, Creating the invention, Creating the plan, Creating the idea and now you can read it and run with it.
NOW is the time to create and release what the Lord has given you. We are Creators and therefore we create rise up sons of God and Create.
Prayer:
Father I thank you for creating me in your image and in your likeness. I rise up and take my rightful position in the kingdom and begin to create as you have purposed in me. For I am your workmanship and I am created unto good works in Christ Jesus as you have ordained before the foundations of the world in Jesus name I pray. Amen
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
What are you need of today? Is it your health? Has the enemy robbed you today or yesterday in any area of your LIFE. What are you Looking at. I have come to rely on this scripture more and more. My mother-in-law quotes this scripture ALL the Time. I never knew why this was her go to scripture but as I have grown in the word of and as an adult I know what it truly means.
When I hear this song by Travis Green I am reminded of several scriptures but this one especially. Psalm 121:1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. The Bible tell us we are the healed. We as Believers, Christians, Children of the Most High God, the Remnant, or whatever adjective you are claiming today on the cross, on that hill, “Calvary” that Jesus said it is finish.
Today we operate in the finish work of Jesus. We now have power and authority that was given back to us and all finished work at the cross is Ours. So your healing is finished. I’m dealing with healing today. I have so many people connected to me that are being plagued in their bodies with sickness and disease and unrest and people of GOD that is not our portion. You were healed at Calvary sickness and disease is trying to come up on you. Whose report will you believe? Where are you Looking? What is your heart set on? Your healing/healed state of being or what the enemy and symptoms are saying. Today lets BELIEVE God. 8/22/2016
PRAYER
I pray for a Supernatural Revealed Word to be released over your Life today. I plead the Blood of Jesus over every area that is contrary to the word of God concerning your body. You are healed from the top of your heads to the soles of your feet. No weapon shall by no means prosper against you I pray for divine health to manifest Now in Jesus name. You are healed, You are whole, You are set free in Jesus name. Lord we Thank you Right now in advance for you finished work in our lives in every area. In Jesus name Amen.
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Early this morning during prayer time I heard the Lord say I put Gen: 3:15 there for a reason. Woman I do not want you to be complacent and think everything is OK. Are you declaring and decreeing over your seed. You are in a Spiritual War for your seed (children). Who is winning? Are You winning? Is satan winning? Selah
I want you to really think about that before you answer. Where has the enemy come in and touched your child (Kill, Steal, and Destroy)? Do not be lulled into your ritualistic behaviors of getting up go to work, get off pick up kids, cook dinner, check homework, go to bed and repeat. All the while your children are slowly slipping away from you.
The Lord is high lighting ENMITY today. Please remember the devil is not your friend. The devil will not leave your seed alone if you don’t “mess” with him. You better open your eyes Mom/Dad/Guardians and see the salvation of the Lord and the tricks and schemes of the enemy. This is an (RSA) Remnant Service Announcement. 8/23/16
PRAYER
Father I come to on behalf of our children today to lift them up before you God and ask that you continue to Bless and Keep them. I thank you for divine instructions and supernatural protection in the name of Jesus. Lord I thank you for Supernatural Divine health, wealth, and revelation to be the portion that my seed encounters. I thank you that you put ENMITY between my family and the enemy and that no weapon shall prosper. Glory to God in Jesus name Amen.
